having a non-tech forum would be a great way for alot of us on here IMO to just talk bout stuff on ur cars. IE: getting ideas for users to make a calander / online car show / GPs / orgainze cruises?

just an idea.

There won't be any Non-Tech board on ThirdGen.org again. The closest thing you'll get is the Regional Boards. There will be more added soon. Check them out when they are online.

I don't ever post here, but i've been registered for a while so I decided to actually start checking this place out. I am obviously missing something as to what happened to a non-tech forum. I usually post at camaroz28.com and stangnet, and they have "lounges", and i'm wondering why there isn't one here? Can someone clue me in on it because the first thing I noticed were threads getting locked because they weren't tech related... but there isn't any non-tech forum..... Thanks.

I'll tell you why there arent any general posts here.
When was the last time you were at Stangnet? I post there regularly in the Canada West forum.
There are NO tech posts in there, and when there are they rarely contain tech info, and when there is tech info in there people start flame wars.

There was non-tech here but it got so out of hand and personal that thirdgen was brought back as a tech only site. It was a big mess and it caused alot of hard feelings to various members. That's pretty much the cliff notes version.
