thanx alot guys....(metal housing glass lens)
altho im havin an issue that gooman said might be a short somewhere...the high and low beams constantly flicker like they are going to go out.
the low beams were able to plug into the stock fitting without the adaptors, and they don't seem to flicker anymore.
the high beams can't be used without the adaptors tho

you didn't wire relays to them?? eek! be careful man, your probably overdrawing the stock wiring with too much current and you'll end up melting your wiring harness.
