As indicated in the title, who other than SLP made a 2OTL exhaust for thirdgens? I believe flowmaster made one as well, but cannot confirm.

 

Gale banks made one. Good luck finding one though. You can always make one too with a single in dual out muffler of your choice

 

The dynomax/walker dual exhaust kit I have is designed to dump both pipes out the left side. I modified it to one on each side though, cause I prefer that look. I got it from summit.

 

Flowmaster used to have one too. Flowmaster and Summit both make mufflers you could use and make your own.

 

Borla made one - have a setup on my 90 Maui Blue Formula

that borla setup is pretty cool. a friend of mine has one, i always thought it was homemade

Those are SLP tails. IIRC Banks are straight and have a chrome tip

 

I guess someone put them on there then. You can't buy tips though?

 

G-banks. Looks like the whole tailpipe was chrome

 

Love learning this stuff. 2OTL SLP muffler would be awesome to have for historical reasons and probably would buy one and install it in a heartbeat if I found one. But I gotta say, sort of like the stock look better. Maybe its the symmetry that grabs me. Or maybe cause I'm just used to looking at it for 24 years and anything else just seems off?

Yours hang like the one on my 91 Z28 did - lower on the left than right. Before I pulled mine off the trailer I shortened the drop on the hanger and leveled mine right out.

 

Are we still talking about tail pipes ?
