What brand and model tire did the 1990 Firebird Formulas leave the factory with? I haven't really found any info about it here or anywhere. Not that I expect to find them, but I was just curious.

 

from atleast 87 to 92 and depending on motor, 245-50-VR16 or the 245-50-ZR16 goodyear gatorback.

No, VR on them from 85 & up with the ZR coming in 1990.

 

my 3/13/89 350 had ZRs on it

 

My '89 hardtop came with ZRs and my '89 convertible came with VRs.

 

Sounds like a rolling change as GM is notorious for.

 

My 5/89 car came with ZR's as well.

 

Correction, mid year 1989.

Both my 90's came with the ZR's, 87 came with VR's.

 

For the record, my convertible was produced 12/88 and hardtop 5/89.

 

My 89 Has ZR's, but I forgot the build date of the car.
