I would get the emblems from CarMotorSports, they are "proper" reproductions. I'm not sure who OEMs the emblems other places sell, but Rich went to allot to get his perfect and genuine GM restoration part approved.
Congrats on the purchase. It looks like a very good candidate for a restoration. You(and your daughter probably) will be happy with your choice to restore it instead.

well she still has a non-emissions legal v8 s-blazer that I need to make compliant to get it registered.. ive found a few leads on a tpi set-up, so I might go that route.
Yeah I would deffinely NOT part that GTA out. The 1991-92 GTA's are so rare and look awesome! Find another cheap TPI car that's not so unique for a donor. There are tons out there.
At the very least.. you could easily resell it to a member here on the board that will fall in love with it. You could probably make some money off of it.

here is a pic of hers.
Are you set on TPI? You could pick up a 5.3, or a 6.0 even, for the same $$ and it will have more power, better gas mileage, and more reliable if it will be her daily. On that vehicle i'm not sure what it would require to swap it over but I couldn't imagine it being much more than a TPI seeing as the aftermarket has really backed up the LS style swap.

Great find, glad to hear you are saving this one! Nice to get some documentation with the GTA. Good luck with your restoration, looks like you have a pretty solid foundation.
