SUNS OUT T-BARS OUT

Well Summer is finally here. Got out the jug of Chemical Brothers Detail spray and BAMN. Cars gleaming... so am I ear to ear.
Love this car more and more every time I look at it I think!
Nothing better than a day like this, T-Bars out and the tunes cranked. Going for a cruise later along the Ocean side and looking forward to the nice cool breeze off the Ocean!

Re: SUNS OUT T-BARS OUT

Thanks for the kind words everyone. It gets lots of attention around here. Not many around at all this year.
Now get this... young fella has a White IROC Z that's just about finished being done over. I am thinking great this kid is only 19-20 and restoring a 3rd gen.
My Buddy has him on speaker Phone today, and the car owner says he's painting it Blue like mine... WHAAAAAT.

Now I am Not happy about this as it's originally white and there's no other blue one around. It would be deadly to see another clean IROC around in a different colour of course.
Kind of upset about him copying my Cars Colour but not sure if I should be mad or just being selfish lol

Re: SUNS OUT T-BARS OUT

Yea, a little bit of a downer, but just for a minute. You don't wanna see yourself at every intersection. But like we all know, 3rd gens roaming the streets is getting rare. Take it with a smile. The next generation that likes the lines and style of a 3rd gen to fix it up and put love in it. Thats cool right there. And really, the blue you can take as flattery. Someone sees a beautiful car and falls in love with it, the image burns in their memory. So much so thats what they envision for their car. Thats the best compliment your car can ever get. Job well done sir!!

Re: SUNS OUT T-BARS OUT

Buddy.... that's a real good way to look at it for sure. I take pride in the car and it's the only Blue one around. I remember when I was 21, I had a Black IROC that was in average shape. Buddy here bought a MINT blue one and I was like DAMN WOW I want one of them.
Only difference is I couldn't afford it at the time!
