Bought these from Hawks with the off-road y pipe setup.Paid over $1400 for whole thing. Headers alone are a $1000 brand new. These are in brand new condition. Would like to sell locally if possible . 1 3/4 primaries 2 1/2 collector. Has the bung for 02 in drivers side. Great ground clearance. Doesnt fit my new combo. Thanks for looking.
$800 for headers $300 for y pipe. Email darrvan@msn.com or PM.

I'm using a hooker blackheart dual exhaust from the headers back. Trying to determine if these would work for my build. If they will put me in the serious category. Do know if these would line up and work?

Serious in terms of responding back to me. Even had people send me there phone numbers with no decency to even call me back after they picked up and said they would.
in terms of fitting,It should work. I have an off road y pipe that works with the headers. Is the blackheart made for an 82-92?
I swapped in a 421 stroker. Heads are AFR235s. Exhaust ports are .375 higher than stock. One side fits the other side the collector hits the floor pan. I had test fitted these on a previous motor before I sold it and they fit perfect. Didnt think the exhaust port height difference would be an issue but it is. I have poly mounts too so that may contribute some. I had factory mounts when I test fitted it on a 355 standard port heads. Dont want to run solids, and rubber mounts wont last on 600hp.

what headers and exhaust are you running with the new 421 ?
I am going with the Doug's units. I have enough room with the k member. Problem on the stainless works units, well not really a problem, is that you have excellent ground clearance. They tuck very tight up against the underbody. So by raising the head port was enough to bring the collector up against the frame. I'm going to have a custom collector back installed. Plus another downside is the 2.5 collector. Great for almost all builds. On a 421 not so much

Any thought of cutting the headers and adding .500 to their length and also cutting off that necked down area on the collector and adding a bit of 3" tubing? Or are you doing a stepped 1 3/4 to 1 7/8s header?

I looked into getting new collectors from stainless works. They were about $300. Problem is 2 fold in my opinion with these headers. They tuck up in way to close to the body, so even with a new collector angled it's going to be to tight. And the actual buying these and cost having them welded in. I bought a new set from Doug's for 480. Plus the offroad pipe is a wash, it's still 2.5 inch. If I just sell everything I can recoupe my cost on this and buy something else.
