Bought a high mileage recently “181,000 Camaro RS ,It’s got a clean past history report. 2 owners and now I’m the 3rd. No accidents/ salvage title issues. It has a 305 TBI and 4 speed automatic transmission. So, pros/ cons from you owners of this vehicle. Let me hear it! Thanks John. Btw... bought it for my upcoming 50th birthday present.
I have short lived and owned a 1986 Camaro IROC -Z with identical engine / trans but it had tuned port injection. Had to get rid of it for sake of falling on hard times.
i had a 92 rs 5-speed...it was my favorite...i regret letting it go...i gave 1200.00 for it and drove it 100 miles home....hood and front were badly faded so i painted hot rod black....i sure miss that car alot.....
here is mine with 2970 miles....The only "con" I can think of would be the under whelming power of the 305 TBI - but if you dont want a hot rod, its a great car

my brother has a 92 rs 25th anniversary that just hit 100,000miles. it was originally that teal blue color that seems to be a favorite on this board but it was painted black about 15 years ago. the 305tbi/700r4/273 combo isnt the best but it was still enjoyable until we pulled the engine out and put in a carb'd 355.
