I just scored a 91/92 Camaro high rise spoiler for $25 from a guy who had no idea what it was, i was wondering if it is an easy install and if it looks good, i love them on the camaros but my GTA spoiler in turning to crap so i thought i would give the high rise spoiler a try, thanks
One of the other members on here has it on his firebird. I can't recall his name but I think it's the guy who had a big block ford and then went to a supercharged LS, kind of a greyish-silver exterior.
Id bite the bullet and buy a repro from Hawks or Classic industries. But its your car and you may like the high rise wing..
i do like the high rise, but i am on a budget, i would only keep it for a year or 2 until i have enough money. my spoiler now is in really bad shape and it kills the look of my car
I do like the look...however....if the rest of the car is basically stock appearing, then to me it looks like you picked one up cheap and threw it on there (which you did, lol). ....if the car has been modded, and has some customer appearance mods here and there.....then I think it looks cool and fits right it just fine.
I'd agree with the above. Sell the Z spoiler, apply the cash to the pile you're accumulating by "donating" plasma and recycling aluminum cans, etc and you'll have enough saved up for a fiberglass repro in no time flat.
