Re: T56 crossmember
It's supposed to be spohn and came with torque arm as well. I'm hoping it's for the 4th gen t56 though.

Re: T56 crossmember
Most aftermarket transmission mounts have 3 holes, so they can be used with single or dual bolt setups.
Biggest problem with that crossmember is that it will hang down a mile.

Re: T56 crossmember
Looks just like my Spohn.
You could get either a drill bit and add a slot in the middle, or buy a mount for a Turbo 350 or 400, or a Muncie or T-10 4-speed. Any car that came with any of them. Be romantic... aim high... get one for a 69 Chevelle SS396 4-speed. Won't have studs though; it uses 2 bolts instead of stud & nut.

Re: T56 crossmember
I dont believe I was sold the right crossmember for my swap. I tried to line up different holes but the only ones that line up dont match where the trans mount is. Any ideas anyone?

Re: T56 crossmember
Nope, looks like it's for something else... exactly the same except different... 4L80E maybe? What did Steve Spohn have to say when you asked him?
