I understand. The QA1 part is a similar part but it’s not an Edelbrock part. Anyone who wants the old school part with the Edelbrock logo on it wouldn’t want a QA1. I know I didn’t. But this part isn’t for the masses. It’s for a select group of people who want a particular part from a particular brand and are willing to pay for it.

Nice! I love the old Performance parts that used to be made for third gens! SLP, Edelbrock, Accel and other’s. They all made cool parts for our cars...

edelbrock bought the qa1 ones an put there sticker on it same part#.NOT SIMILAR PART IT IS THE SAME EXACT lol..

I think you are very foolish. If you don’t like the price don’t buy it. Keep moving on. I have sold and bought a ton of parts on here for several years. There has never been anyone in here who bought something from me who isn’t completely satisfied. I’m not forcing anyone to buy this from me, and in fact I even say feel free to make an offer. I set the price like that to avoid low ball offers. If someone else has the other Edelbrock suspension parts and they care about authenticity they’d prefer this part. It came from Edelbrock, has the Edelbrock labeling on it and comes with Edelbrock packaging and paperwork and that adds value to some people, which Is why I bought it for my own car. It’s definitely worth more than a QA1 part and it’s not the same. The QA1 says QA1 on it and the Edelbrock says Edelbrock, and Edelbrock is a more famous brand in my opinion, and I’d much rather see an Edelbrock logo when I pop my hood then QA1 (especially since its discontinued, which makes it cooler I think, especially to get a brand new one in 2018). Go be ignorant and rude on someone else’s thread...if you don’t like the price or the ad then don’t buy it but you don’t need to be a jerk.

my ad is very clear and straightforward and in no way am I trying to rip anyone off. I accurately described my part and took pictures of it and posted a price and even said to “feel free to make a reasonable offer”. There’s nothing in my ad that is misleading, inaccurate or dishonest or in any way, shape or form trying to rip anyone off. If you can’t afford it or don’t like the price, just move on. No need to be a jerk and try to hijack my post with negativity. Figure out better ways to spend your time since life is short. No need for you to post anymore comments on my threads.

This really sums it all up!!! It’s my part and I can do whatever I want with it. It’s a discontinued desirable part. And I can ask any price I want. People will either buy it or not. That’s how our capitalistic society works. Apparently some folks don’t understand that.

So in any event, as I said originally in this post, this part is for sale. Please feel free to make any reasonable offer to me for this part. I don’t need to sell it and it’s worth more than a QA1 part, so just keep that in mind when you make your offer.
