Oh just off the top of my head, the same years as the Firebird S/E... So say 82-86 maybe? Wasn't too terribly common.

Makes sense. My friend's `83 S/E has it as does my `86 T/A.

Guys , Thank you for showing me something I've never seen before . Of all the third gens I've seen over the years not one has been equipped with a locking fuel door . I did buy an aftermarket locking gas cap that works fine , but if I ever find such a factory equipped fuel door with a lock I just may install it instead and put my factory gas cap back !
