Hey all,
I'm looking for Gm# 20198747. It's the little trim piece (maybe a couple of inches long) that joins the two long pieces of trim that go around the perimeter of the hatch glass. It's located at the top centre of the hatch by the roof. I'm restoring the hatch trim and need this piece.

According to the part number you posted, it's a plastic channel 1" long. If that's what you need I've got one in my hand right now you can have, but I don't know what it would cost to mail from Florida to ya ?

 

You have two? I'll pay twice that. Seriously though not looking for a freebie. I've had five of these cars and none had one.

Were you able to order it ?

I've tried to order parts from gmpartsdirect, I found even though parts are listed in GM's catalog doesn't mean they have it in stock for delivery. I tried adding it to cart and they wouldn't let me....

And 40 bux for this little plastic piece is insane.....

 

Idon't now why I post their parts, maybe because I'm hoping they do have the parts we need or maybe we just get lucky and they have them..I got lucky maybe 2 times out of 25 with some parts I needed but that's it,most of the time they don't have it.I've emailed them and asked them to update their on line catalog

 

It allowed me to get as far as the payment page when I saw it was $10 to ship it. Gonna pass on it for now. Got a bunch of smalls lately that are eating me up with shipping charges like that. $4 part $10 shipping, $3 part $8 shipping, and on and on.

 

Their is nothing in this world that drives me as that,that part should cost no more than $2.50 to ship

 

I know what you mean mantaguy, I see the inside door handle screw cover I need at Hawks for $6.95. When I put it in my cart it came up $14.xx ship'n, I refuse to pay crazy ship'n on a small part, I'll have to wait till I need something else to go with it.
