Black 17x9.5 CTW wheels still for sale

Just a quick heads up. Was debating on getting some 18" made from Alibaba. But in the end I decided I didn't like how the car would look with 285/35-18's and instead going to go with the CTW wheels and 275/40-17's.
The CTW's fit without spacers and have the correct 120.65mm bolt circle. Plus they have lots of clearance for the brakes.

The price was within $20 either way I went on all 4. With the CTW wheels I do not have an issue with a tariff surprise either.

Re: Black 17x9.5 CTW wheels still for sale

These wheels were designed from the ground up to fit the 1982 to 1992 3rd generation Camaro & Firebird.

They are 17' x 9.5" in size with 5.25" backspacing to fit 1982 to 1992 F-Bodies (Chevrolet Camaro & Pontiac Firebird) without spacers. They weigh 20lbs 4.4oz with the center cap. 17" x 9.5" not 17" x 9.0" is the optimum wheel size for a 275/40 R17 tire.

These are flow formed wheels that are Made in the USA by a Tier 1 automotive supplier that makes the OEM wheels for GM's Camaro and Corvette.

I don't think the OP was announcing his wheels are for sale. I think he was announcing that these CTW wheels are still for sale by CTW.

Correct. They are for sale at the CTW Motorsports site. $1,200 plus shipping was what they sell them for.

They really are nice wheels. I would love a set polished.

My new to me Formula has these wheels. Nice to see how light they are and they do have great fitment and tuck perfectly. They allow for a beautiful fitment. Only complaint...I dont love the look. Not sure if I want to sell them or keep them in case I decide to track the car some day.

Re: Black 17x9.5 CTW wheels still for sale

Correct on all counts.

Many are aware that CTW was my company, selling to a great customer a few years ago. But the wheels are of the same quality and design that I created back in late 2010.

The one thing I want to bring up is that the wheels were dominant in the CMC racing series, with all 3rd-gen finalists in the championship running the wheels.

Re: Black 17x9.5 CTW wheels still for sale

My Formula has these wheels and I've considered using them on my trans am roller that is possibly heading for a track car. But im also out of storage and thinking of selling them. They do feel pretty light compared to other wheels on the car.
