I've opened a JPEG in image ready. I've tweened this image to create the effect of headlights turning on and off. My goal is to save this image as a GIF. For whatever reason, File --> Save Optimized As is only giving me three options (HTML and Images = .html, Images Only = .jpg, and HTML Only - .html). Saving it as HTML and Images will only save one frame, as will the Images Only option. HTML Only saves it in HTML format, but gives me a broken image every time I open it. What didn't I do to make GIF available to me? I'm simply going to leave the program open until I can figure it out, I don't want to do it all over again, it probably wouldnt come out as well next time. Help!

 

I am not sure man, I always set up all my layers in photoshop and just leave imageready for the animating. I never do any type of editing in imageready.

I got your back man....went to Help and found it right away.

You see "Images Only (*.jpg)" because your have your Optimize setting set to JPEG. Simply change this to GIF and you'll see "Images Only (*.gif)".

*note: This optimize window is on the top right of the screen. If not go to "Window" ---> "Show Optimize"

heh, I just learned something new, I have never seen that tab before, bunch of optimization settings there.. awesome.
