Same place and time as last meet (8 oclock at the James Coney), only on August 10th. This will be the last Saturday I'm in the State.
92RS4BC - I know you're in on this one.
My91RS - I need you to email me still.
SonarUn - Why in the world don't you have windshield wipers???
Adam - Beautiful car...can you meet this coming weekend, and where are you going to school at anyway?
Show a vote if you can show (and hope its a beautiful dry day on Saturday!):lala:

Is it just my computer, or is the poll not working? If I try to look at the results or vote, it says there's an invalid session. Anyway, I'll make it, and I'll see if my friend wants to go.

Texas Tech sure starts early...that is a shame though. I've been waiting to see your car in person since I signed onto the boards. Best wishes to you. Speaking of holidays...anybody want to plan something for the Christmas break??? That's about when I can make another one.

A sticky!!!!! Wow. Thanks man.
Thirdgen gathering this Saturday at the James Coney.
Christmas this year is going to fall on Wednesday-25th. Sat-21, and Sat-28, which is better for a December meet?
hmmmm.....no clue. Might be a good idea to plan this one in December.

So, we're meeting at James Coney Island Saturday night at 8 pm or so. Am I right this time?

Me GOOOOO!!!!!!
I will go, even if i have to strap my car on the back of a tow truck.....
I am currently going to hook up my fans directly. Hopefully i'll find the place. I don't know my way around in that area.
Hey man_of_steel27, which SJC are you going to? I am planning to attend the Central SJC and take either the TSEP or TTEN program. BTW, check your battery, starter, and your ignition switch.

Well, three of us showed up. Thanks to those who came! The James Coney was packed beyond belief last night. The most interesting car I saw was a mid 80s fiero with an LT4. That's be quite a "peppy" little car. hehe
I waited until 9:30 to leave (the rice started cruising the parking lot - somethin I don't like). If there is another meet in the Humble Area....a new location would need to be found (unless it's winter - most guys there store their cars in winter).
red92rs - did your 78 bird have a hoodbird? I took a picture of one.
92rsbrc - that's one beautiful car you've got. You might try the "cooling" board for your overheating problem
my91rs - I suggest you check pm.
To all of those that failed to show....you missed quite a show. That's the fullest I've ever seen it. There was very little room for parking, so perhaps you did make it and just couldn't park. Oh well. I leave Friday for college and wish you all the best of luck in the future and *** Bless.

BTW, I figured out that my car only runs hot w/ the a/c on. I had it off w/ the windows down on the way home and it never even saw 220*.

I didn't feel too bad about driving all the way out there and not seeing anyone because when i left i stopped at a chevron about 1 mile south of the James Coney Island and found a die cast metal 1/18 scale 1982 Camaro for about $20:rockon: I've already gone out there the last three saturdays so maybe if anybody would like to meet up sometime in the near future it could be closer towards I-10 or even the 290N 610 area.

we just missed each other. I came back and was sitting there waiting for anybody to show up and nobody came by. Sorry I missed you.
B4C - check out the "cooling" board. You might find an answer to your air conditioning/heating problem. I had a similar problem on my 92 which was fixed when I had the radiator flushed and cleaned.
Is there a board for the Arkansas area?

Kewl, what kinda 350 are you getting? New or used?
Either way, you'll notice a BIG difference between the 305 and a 350. Do you have TPI?
See ya!
P.S.
Sorry i didn't make it to the gathering. I was working on my car, and i am just about finish. I have been wiring my fans to turn on by toggle switches; and cleaned, flushed, and pressured tested my radiator; replaced thermostat with a 180 deg. Taking my time so that everything is done correctly.

Hey fellas
Hey 92RSB4C, I finally found you on here. I wish I would have seen this thread last weekend. Did yall know about Barnes and Noble on Fri nights. Its the one at 45 and Bay Area. Man there are some sweet cars , but I have only seen one third-gener. Well, I have to head back to school on wed but we should all meet down there on the week of thanksgiving and definetely go to the track over Christmas. 92RS that crappy SES light is still on and it is code 24 I think, what the heck is that code, its not in the book, what the crap. Talk to you guys later,"Wreck 'em Tech" Kevin
