What part of Houston are you from? I'd also like to get some other people together that weekend, I just need to know where everybody can meet and at what time.

How about the Humble James Coney island again
Hi Houston guys
What do you say about getting together again this weekend out at James coney island on 1960 in Humble. Last time there were a lot of interesteing cars and besides I don't have any money to do anything else, heehee. I would bring my Red 91 Formula and try to get my daughter to bring the 91 Z28. Whaddayasay?

OR, we could go out to Sealy 1/8 mile dragstrip and race. They go Fri night from about 6 to midnight and Saturday about noon to dark. Might be fun to to Saturday and do a little racing, eh?

uh bigbrian guy.... unless I am mistaken the other Houston guys and me are going to meet at the James Coney Island on 1960 in Humble on Saturday night, not at Sealy dragstrip. I didn't get any response to my racing idea. I wasn't going to race this weekend but I just went down and got some Nitto drag radials put on the Formula. I was driving home and there is a seriously noticable difference with traction i noticed by just jumping on it a little bit at stop signs. Im dying to try it out at this strip because the last time it was hard not to spin. So I think i am going to Sealy in the afternoon. Remember on Saturday they race from about noon to dark so go early if you are going. After that Im going to the Coney Island place and brag about how good the car hooked at the strip (I hope).

Hey again bigbrian. I would like to meet you at the strip tomorrow afternoon and maybe have a friendly race. I should be there about 4pm. Look for a bright red Formula with an older (not old, 52) guy driving. Its only 1/8 mile there but its low key and good practice especially for starts and 60' times. Bring the other guy too. I beat a late model Z28 a few weeks ago at SEaly, I think he must have spun his tires off the line, he was gaining on me at the 1/8 finish but I got him by about 1/2 car lenght. He probably would have won in the 1/4 mile. WEll as they say, a win is a win.
Hey bellvile is out by Sealy somewhere right? Hope to see you there

larry, ill try to make it out to sealy tomarow, but i dont think my bro is gonna be goin. Bellville is right next to sealy only like 10 miles away and I usually go out there durring the spring time becasue thats when I accually have some free time and some extra money to spend. um look for a tall kid that looks like a offensive lieman type in a black iroc. as for the racing... ur gonna beat me, ive got the 305 in it. but if im not out there ill try to meet u out there some other time, its so close i dont mind just drivin out there.

sorry guys
Houston guys
Sorry I didn't make it out to Coney Island last night, but I went out to Sealy dragstrip to try out my new drag radials, and it was car club night. There was Houston F body club, Halo (Ford Lighting pickups), westside Mustangs (boooo) and others. I ended up meeting all the F body guys and ran with them in my first bracket racing experience. I left at 11 pm and they still had several rounds to go. Very intersting experience. See my comments on the racing board here if you are interested. We ought to participate as the Thirdgen Club the next time they have this. It's bracket racing so you can run anything as long as you have a good reaaction time and consistent runs. They have this once per month, would you guys be interested for the next one. It only costs the $10 to get in plus $5 to race just like always. I guess you win trophies if you win, no money. I think it would be cool to have a thirdgen clud participating, all the F body guys I met had 4th gens. How waaas James Coney Island?

I like the idea....
Anyone set a date for the Dec. gathering?
The formula was broken into a couple night ago... no more stereo for me...
Luckily they didn't really damage the car. Praise .*** for that! But still, 2000 down the drain... in one night... ugh.
Anyone know a really inexpensive place to buy car audio equipment in Houston? got any friends in the biz?
Later,
Daniel

I'm up for a summer Texas meet in Central Texas! Since I don't have to drive very far, and I, hopefully, will have the motor done by then.
