Bought a 89 GTA on saturday in Kingwood , dark grey with grey cloth interior, 350 auto. This one is a fixer upper with a few dings in it , not real nice like the white 91 I used to have, but it runs strong and has had the trans rebuilt, new posi, new AC and brakes. First thing it will get is a ceramic coated exhaust and custom header set up. I think I am going to try and use hedman long tubes and weld in air injection tubes and O2 bung and attempt to fab up a y pipe if it will fit under the car and of course coat it all in our shop American Coating Specialties in Humble. Anyway will talk at you all later,

wow Dave. Ya know - I'd trade you my 91 GTA in a heartbeat. Bright Red, L98, Auto - all stock too. She just got an alluminum radiator.

I'm in Arkansas and won't be home till March though. The offer's on the table

heh - well thanks. There's better out there. All she needs is paint though.

These cars typically go for anwhere from 6 to 9 grand.

LOL man...didn't think you were serious.

First of all, I won't be home until March (and that's only 1 week.) - so the car will be for sale (probably) in the first part of the summer.

Second of all, I'd offer her for 7 even. She's got 140,000 synthetic oil miles and is in need of a repaint (classic fbody clear coat dying). If you're serious, let me know in June.

 

Cool,....I want a GTA,.. I have had my bird for 2 years and it has got old,.....there is one is autotrader that doesnt run and has the ram air II hood,....they want 2800,......I dont like the paint though,....what you have is diffrent,...i like it for sure,...ill get back to you in June,...
