Hello all, I am new to the site. I'm from houston tx. This weekend, i'll be getting this 83 firebird. I was wondering where do you all get your performance parts, or possibly rebuild kits from cause I'll be doing a rebuild on it asap. Thanks

Welcome to the boards. I get all my parts from either summit or jegs there just arent to many performence parts stores near me. Oh and I get all of my basic crap(oil, air filter, spark plugs, etc.) from orielleys or autozone like everyone else in america.

Thet're jus pickin on ya.
Nice to see another V6 owner in this area. I can hook you up with quite a few upgrade ideas and where to come by them (part numbers). Yeah, a V8 is a lil better than a V6, but a thirdgen is better than anything else I can afford.

well, sorta
I like to mess around with my car as much as time allows (as long as somthing isn't broken...). Sometimes a few of us meet up at Sonic at 1960 and Aldine Westfield, check out the classics and stuff. Sonar and I usually spend the weekends working on our cars at my place or at my shop. Hit me up when your in a car mood (Racing, modding, running convoy etc.).
