HAHA, yeah I did! The MAF fixed it! Idles like a champ!
Now I've gotta fix the oil leak at the oil cooler adapter.

So for those of you who care...KITT RUNS, and will be at the March Gathering with Ballz on!

Got the engine out last night, sitting in my driveway, im pulling the heads off to check the valves tonight and gonna start on porting the heads, then gonna assemble it all as one piece and drop it in with the transmission . Should be done in 2 weeks. Im gonna clean the wiring up while the engine is out.

Found the knocking problem, a piston was slapping the head. Lovely. Good thing it happened a mile from my house. Im suspecting a cracked rod or very loose one. Find out this weekend, gonna be working on the heads right now.

haha, yeah no shizl! I'm doing a lot of this with the GM Student Loan I got, lol. Along with buying abour 5 grand in tools. But the gathering isn't just about the track. I'll probably be the slowest LT1 there, but atleast I'll be there. My car's missed the last 2 meets, and I'm looking forward to this one very much!!
Damn Pasky, the piston was slapping the head!? You might wanna have the head checked for cracks or something then! Oh yeah Lou! You'll probably have the only 'Vert there..and hopefully it'll be good weather so we can all cruise with the top (or t-tops, or windows ) down!
