Well it looks like I won't be able to get to this Saturdays meet. I was really looking forward to coming and bringing Max and his car, but I am in Trinidad and wont be back until Saturday night late. See you guys soon I hope.

Got to meet some new Hooters! Well, look anyway--MMroc86 i think got an eyeful, while she was taking orders!

Food at Hooters was not impressive--but like Wheelspin said--U don't got to Hooters for the food!

Still can't believe RudyT ate all that food!--That boy must have a tape worm!

The cruise to Sam's Club was cool until we all got split up at the I-10 underpass where all th construstion is--thankfully Daniel was bringing up the rear and got everybody going in the right direction.

Cool hanging out at Sam's except for the car count being down. Not sure why--couple thought it might be because of prom weekend? Still some cool cars to check out.

Got to hand out a couple flyers to new thirdgenners at Sam's, that had never heard of Thirdgen.org. I think these cool looking lyers that ZAP89 made up will add a few new people- if everybody hands them out whenever u see a nice thirdgen on the street.

Yes, I think this monthly meeting thing is definately something wwe want to keep going!

Needless to say, the June monthly meet will be replaced by "THE SUMMER MEET, EAT + COMPETE gathering. (Please read the appropiate thread for more info). We will resume the Monthly Meets in July--second Sat.--4 PM --location to be deceided later.

Rudyt was'ent the only one to suffer a little damage yesterday, we had a little cruise back to the southeast side of town. Boy we where hauling *** at the end when Rudy got in the lead!lol Anyways my A/C compressor went out, I cut the belt today and I will get it fixed in a couple of weeks. I am thinking of going with a rebuilt one. What do you guys suggest? Shoud I go with the rebuilt or a new one? I was thinking that if the rebuilt one had a lifetime warranty or something like that it might not be a bad idea.

hey guys that carshow i told yall about is going on right now and like 4 thirdgens showed up including mine but passed out some flyers and left some on my winshield and when i got back from deliveries ...they were all gone ...im thinking alot of people are very interested ..im going back there cause i saw that formula with the ram air and silver stripes from the last meet and hope to run into him....he is registered in the car show ...i hope he gets an award too

Rebuilt compressors SUCK. It may last you a year.

WEll im sorry Max and I missed it, work sucks. Anyway I sure hope we will make it to the next one. Ill be back Tuesday in Houston. Watched Cricket today in Trinidad. Big sport here, I didn't have the slightest idea what was going on but the Trinidadian rum is very good.

I was the one with the '89 in the show. We had just run down there to see the show but ended up putting the car in. It was a good time. We spent much more time there than intended. Ended up with 1st place in class! Had to be an accident. The car wasn't clean and was not ready for a show, but, first show-first trophy. Chatted with a gentleman there from this board, ?Rudy?, but missed his name. Maybe we will see you guys around Houston.

it was a good show at hooters. Mike holla at me 713-443-1721 'bout the compressor. Rebuilt are still good it just depends on who is putting them in. New ones have the same warranty as the rebuilt ones anyways.


I had a f*n blast for my first meet, can't wait for the summer meet. I'll have my fuelpump cover on by then hopefully my windshield 2 so i can run on the track. Everybodies cars that showed up were nice.
