Alright guys as some of you know my windshield is shot to $hit and i need a new one. I am just going to take drop it off somewhere and have them do it. Anbody want to reccomend a place. And how much do these jobs normally cost on our cars? Thanks for the help guys.

 

I'll check around the office but there are services that actually come out to where you work/live/etc. and do the work there and the price wasn't too bad - unless you want to go with "true factory replacement" windshields (i.e. GM stamped on 'em, etc).

 

Yeah I thought about going that route and will probably end up doing it that way, but I always like to ask around here to see if anyone knows of a good place to do it because I would rather give my bussiness to someone that has proven to do a good job then just someone off of the street.

 

I just got out the yellow pages called a couple--got one that came to my house and did it in my driveway for about 100.00--can't find the name but they had a larger ad and they were located at 59 + 8

yup yup those are probably the same folks that have been known to visit around here. it's amazing how many windshields bust when you work off of a major street in the city!

 

ther is a place off belt way 8 and hammerly area that gives good deals...I'll find it for ya this week and get back to ya....
