Just found a 91 Z28 with 78K Miles

Hi Guy's,

Just found a 1991 Z28 with 78,000 original miles today. Guy wants $1800. He's emailing pictures to me. I might replace my convertible with it.

Be careful, if it SEEMS to good to be true--IT USUALLY IS!!!

Not to burst your bubble, but for 1800.00 there has to be somthing not right!

If U are trulu looking to buy a replacement thirdgen, then go to Autotrader and or ebay. I was looking at both of them in th last couple days and there are some good deals fairly close by to our area, including a 92 red convertable at a used car lot at 8 and Little York. (not listed in either) Not sure if U prefer verts or not--did not look at it, not do I know the $$$.

Just whatever U do, as when U sell yours to somebody else, many times when U buy a used car, U are buying somebody else's troubles, may be why they are getting rid of it in the first place!!! U have bought and sold cars before --I'm not telling U anything U don't already know--JUST REMINDING A FRIEND!

For that matter, if U want a bad *** car, buy that 88 from Camaro Cain that already has a completed LS-1 swap. I've seen that car (at least the tailights when it was pulling away from me at the strip-- kicked my *** big time!!!!!!)

Believe me, if I had the money I would have already bought it-- no questions asked!!!

Hi,

I just need something reliable to use as a daily driver. Have an 90 mile round trip to do everyday. I do like the vert. Just in the apartments we are in I'm not allowed to do any work on it. Otherwise I would have stripped the top end off and checked it all out. Also it spends more time with its roof up then down due to the Houston climate. (way too hot with it down)

I might have another daily driver in the next week or so. My wife Jean is up in Dallas for the week. she reckons we should buy a new car. If thats the case then I can park the vert up and just use it at weekends. I'll either keep it then or swap it for a 91/92 Iroc.

Well, in that case, just go get some little shi_box with a cold AC that gets about a gazillion miles to the gallon.
