Source for 4L80-E trans
I'm seeing if anyone in the area knows where I can get an 4L80-E core (93 or later preferred) with all the hard parts for a resonable price. I need to check with my trans builder, but I figured I might be able to get some sources from the forum.

Just for my own education, why do U want a 4L80-E? If I am not mistaken, it is just an electronic shift version of a 700R4 --right? And been told they are a real headache in comparison to the 700.

I bought hard parts from these guys when I had my 700r4 rebuilt.
Edit: Sorry, I overlooked the part about the core.
Good luck

The 4L80-E is an electronic overdrive based on the THM400 (gears 1 through 3 have the same ratios as the THM400. The 4L60-E is the electronic version of the 700R4.
