Wanted Worn Hood Struts.
I know its a strange request. But I need them for the fibreglass hood I've now fitted. According to Zap Racing they work really well on the fibreglass hoods.
Have a good set of hood struts to exchange.

It depends on how heavy the hood is--depends on style of fiberglass hood.
When I did mine, the newer struts, popped the hood open very fast and hard, and it was very hard to close the hood--took a lot of grunt to close it. I read here on the board about buying the weaker hood struts for the 82/83 Camaro fiberglass hoods OR just putting on a worn out set. i took the struts from Sue's 87 RS that we normally had to prop up with a broom stick and they were perfect.
Another options to go to a junk yard and look at a few thirdgens and when U fin the one that will not stay open by itseld--those are the ones U want. Also the same strut works on other vehicles--go to an auto parts site--get the part # and then reenter the # and it might show all of the vehicles that use that particular strut, that U can also check at the JY.
