Ported upper plenum
Portmatched intake to aluminum edelbrock aluminum 165 heads
24# svo injectors
1.6:1 full roller rockers
Hooker shortie 1 5/8 x 3" headers dual cat to 3" single exhaust
adjustable fuel pressure regulator
700r4 trans stock with personal tweaks

Needed: Serious modifications to the eprom and a million dollars

You may want to do something soon, cause those 24# SVO's are going to flood your motor with gas and kill your cat. convertors without the PROM adjusted for it.

Thanks All for the warm welcome I look forward to the next meet, as far as the 24# svo are concerned yeah I know about the cat issue, good thing Autozone was good enough to sell me life time cats. Although it would be my fault they went out in the first place this car has always run a bit fat so it seems that every year I replace them, I have had spark plugs last longer..
There ar alot of mods I still have left to do to the car but I want to get most of the fuel mapping out of the way first, I have tuner CATS Rt Tuner Program just waiting to pick up an adapter and prominator(Ostritch or AUPI) then we can talk shop on that. I am slightly old school as far as cars go but I have formal training in fuel injection systems so I dont see it as being too difficult. I will try to help out as much as possible so feel free to PM me any time about anything If i cant help you I know some people in the area who are great at this stuff.

Welcome, sounds like your car is going to give me and Zap competition in the 13-14 second category. Have you ran the car at the strip yet? What times?

I haven't been to a monthly meet in a while, Im going to try and make the nexto though. Hope to see you there.

 

Bone bare stock before the mods the best time i had was a 14.30 1/4..not bad for a 91 formula as far as I am concerned car has always been a stron runner. since the mods I have had considerable traction issues due to the ageing suspension components so the best so far is a 14.28 @ 96mph still not what I was hoping for but I have some definate tuning to do all around....I will however keep y'all posted.

I've got a buddy going to Humble High School that bought my old 91 GTA. If you see him flag him down and drag him to a meet.

I've tried to get him involved, no luck so far.
