Need help with rear Katy/Houston area

I've been having a few small issues with my car lately that have been keeping me from enjoying it. First my rear trunk motor stopped working, but I should have that resolved soon. The bigger issue is what seems to be a pinion seal leak. It is a pretty slow drip but it seems to be spraying under driving conditions. I got a pretty good look at it when I put the TA cover on there this weekend, and it looks like the yoke seal is separated from the pinion seal by about 1/8". Is that unusual? I can see the seal and it looks ok, but oil is still leaking. I've been told that if you want to replace the seal with the carrier in you have to be careful about the install. I don't have all that much experience with the rear suspension and could use some help with finding out the best way to go about fixing this. I definitely don't have the expertise to mess with removing the carrier and reinstalling it. I'd appreciate any help I could get with this, thanks.

From I-10 and highway 6, go north past Keith Harrow till you reach Addicks Satsuma. Take a right turn and go about 100 yards down, and you will see the sign and it is located on the left in a business park.

Well I was gonna give you guys a call....but then my priorities changed. My engine caught fire just now, but I caught it quickly. Apparently it started at the distributor and melted through the brake booster line and a few other vacuum lines running out of the manifold. When my brakes went I figured it came unhooked. I pulled over, popped the hood, and instead there was a fire on my distributor. I was somehow able to blow it out, and thank god. The fuel rail on that side was right next to the fire. I'll say this about MSD super conductor wires, they are TOUGH. They were right in the fire and didn't even come close to melting one bit. Damn, I have BAD BAD luck.
