Hi everyone, New to the board, I just got a 86 Z28, so I figured I better find a a f-body forum. It's pretty stock, it's got 60 series flow's on it. I've allready got a motor in the works, Griggs motorsports is going to be doing a head for me, and Nickens racing is going to help me build the block. Dont know too much about maro's. The guy I got the car from gave me 2 Rochester(hope I spelled that right) carb's and a OTC monitor 2000. Which I'm guessing is a diagnostic tool. I'm in spring ,Texas, which is just north of houston. So If I live by anyone lmk, I'm always up to meeting new people.

Welcome to the board--there are other 3rd gen boards, but this one is by far the biggest and most info of any out there.

Having races roundy round cars a few years back, i know Nickens will do some good work (course it was Nickens-Brown back then) for U.

If U need some shop help there's only one place in town to turn to for third gen help ARD --see the first post stickied t the top of the page about the Feb meet ar ARD--has address and directions.

U are also lucky in that one of the most knowledgable third gen guys in the area lives up there. Mike-- 1bad91z-- is a wealth of info and probably the onle one in the area to rewrite TPI computer programs (and darn good at it to).

 

I was at an ARD meet about 6 months ago. But I was there in my old Turbo'd Nissan 240sx. It turns out I belive, the owner of the shop's wife know's my uncle and aunt. thought it was pretty cool. I doubt any of you would remember us when we went, I went with a white vw that put down 245hp and another 240sx that was around 230hp(Aaron). <-- He said he post here, but I dont know his sn.
