need advice
i just moved to round rock and bought a 1984 chevy camaro z28 with a 350 it has a comp cam. eddy rpm intake,eddy 600 carb. head work. my goal is to get in the low 12s or 11s does anyone have any ideas to ahieve that

I have seen keith black hyper pistons take a 150 shot in a motor for several seasons. While I wouldn't suggest spraying that much on them, more like 100 or so.
You have to take extra care when filing the ring gaps as hyperutetics radiate heat to the rings more than forged or even cast pistons. This can cause them to butt together breaking rings and or ringlands. You tune is another important factor. Running to rich on NO2 is a bad deal. Your heads/cam are going to be the most important factor.
You might opt for some vortec heads, as you shouldn't need any porting to get close to those times. This may help you save money especially if your having the heads ported by someone ($$$).
