Houston Area

This may be a crazy idea, but I was wondering what you guys think about us die hard thirdgen guys getting together and renting a small shop in a location that would be kinda easy for everyone to get to? I'm sure there is enough of us to split it up and make it cheap. Then we would have a hangout/place to work on our cars cause I'm sure some of us don't have the greatest places to work with! Also it would be nice to help eachother with our various skill levels to make things alot easier for everyone. Just a thought!!

Re: Houston Area

Yep, crazy idea, especially in this big spread out town. & a lot of 3rd gen people are very low budget oriented too. If anything we need to find some Corvette owners to buddy up with.

Re: Houston Area

sound good on paper. but if one decides to not pay or if one or two guys are short, etc. it will put the guy who has the lease in bind. prollygood way to make work is have couple guys pay few mo. up front plus other expenses. to cover just in case.
i for one have access to lifts but not as much as i use to. so mostly i work out of my driveway and garage
