I'm considering for purposes of printing and to have more of a national appeal, changing the Roundup logo

Check out these samples, and tell me if you like them better than the flag logo, and why

CURRENT LOGO

 

I really like the lettering on the new logo, but still like the Camaro/Firebird pictures on the flag. Can we just replace the old lettering with the new?

 

ok, this is my attempt at BOTH

 

i tried to put the dot com with the new lettering, but it just didn't look right after the IROC styled ROUNDUP

if anybody has any ideas, I'm listening

 

I likey. I figured the .com would be a problem, but really think it needs to be there somehow.

 

I'll try it, but i'm afraid it's going to look odd. That iroc font is cool, but it's already pushing the" too much" envelope

 

here it is... can't say I'm a huge fan of the dot com.

as my wife just said... "anybody who sees that on a window sticker and wants more information about it can just go to google"

it's true... you type in third gen round up, and it takes you right there..

yeah, when I made the poll I hadn't combined them for some reason. I guess I was thinking that the goal was to have something that would look good on a black and white flyer, or embroidered on a polo shirt.

Now that I think about it, there's no reason I can't have it both ways. use the new logo with the flag for the website and other places like that, and use the text only version for all other places

By the way, in case anybody is wondering, those fonts don't exist. I had to make them from scratch, especially the IROC one. the camaro one you can get close to in a font called oramac (camaro backwards), but it takes some work to make it look right

 

Yeah, you're right...the .com doesn't look right. So lets drop the .com and go with flag, car pics, and Roundup logo in Iroc font.

what about putting thirdgen across the top of the flag and leaving roundup at the bottom?

 

funny you should mention that... I tried that exact thing this morning. Between the distance and the different fonts, the two looked unrelated to each other. Thay just had no flow into each other, verbally

actually, looking at it in your sig with the location and date at the top looks good. it would definitely be my choice

yeah, grouping them at the bottom gives me the flexibility to add something at the top. I'm really liking this logo, i wish I had changed it earlier
