I'm not sure of the exact date yet, but coming up soon is an extremely cool cruise in Waco, TX. Every year near the end of May, usually the Saturday right after school is out which is in two weeks, there is a HUGE cruise along Valley Mills in Waco. Hundreds of cool cars show up and cruise the Valley for a few hours. Valley Mills is 4 lanes each direction, and the entire road fills up while people line the sides. They cruise back and forth over about a 3 mile distance. During the day, there is a car show at Fort Fisher. When I get the exact dates, I'll post them for anyone that is interested.

Yeah I know what you're talking about. I lived in Waco for 15 years. I even used to work at the Hasting's there right off Valley Mills. Every friday and saturday people "cruise the valley", but rally night is huge...except the cops don't like it much! If it's this saturday I'll be there cause I'll be visiting. Although I think it will probably be next friday and saturday. Oh well.

I was talking to someone, and they were saying Memorial Day weekend. That would make sense. The cruise scene on Friday and Saturday pretty much got killed in the last year. The cops got a little stricter, and racing on the Valley is pretty much non-existent now. Last year, most of the ralley got rained out, but the first part was still huge.

I dont know if I am gonna make it out there or not. The cops are geting horrible. I think most of the local serious racers are gonna be at TAD(Temple Academy Dragway)that sat.
