Anybody putting their 3rd gen in the Super Chevy Show in Montgomery, AL at the end of September? I attended in 2000 and was surprised to see how few 3rd gens there were. I'll be there again this year and I've heard it is twice as big as it was a couple of years ago.

Let me know who else is going...

The show runs from September 27-29 at Montgomery Motorsports Park just north of Montgomery. You can find out all about it at www.superchevyshow.com. It costs $40 to show your car for the whole weekend and $25 for Sat/Sun tickets for people that join you. It's a great deal, considering you get to see some of the best looking and running Chevys around all weekend.

It really is a blast to have your car there, too...even if you don't think it's "show worthy". My car is a daily driver and it definitely looks like it, but I don't really care...it's just fun having your ride there with you. I remember some people I talked to that wished they had brought their third gens but didn't. Who knows, you may actually mess around and win an award or two. Of course, most of the cars on this board look better than mine, so they definitely stand a better chance .
