York County, SC...get in here please!!

Got a speeding ticket (in my pickup no less!!). Said he got me at 59 in a 45, then graciously knocked it down to 54 in a 45. This should be a 2 point ticket, bringing my grand total up to 6 IIRC. Anybody got any ideas how I can get out of this or know anyone who could "help me out"?

I don't mind paying the fine, it's those damn points I need to get rid of.

Thanks all.

Ed, apparently with a foot of lead...

Go to court. The officer might not show up. And to knock down some points take a defense driving course. They have one in Charlotte.

Go take the driving corse. A freind of mine did that and he got 2 of his points back. The corse is expensive though. They do offer it here in this state so you don't have to go to N.C.

I don't mind paying for the course, it's the jack in the insurance I'm trying to avoid. Thanks guys.
