hey guys, im in soddy daisy. ive got an 85' Z-28. its been in the shop, i get it back today, but no paint.. YET! whole new interior sitting at home along with ZR1 style wheels. we need to all get together one night and raise some hell.

 

yeah I did the interior on mine a while back, do you have new carpet and stuff to go in? Is everthing out or do we need to strip it down then clean it up?

 

ive got door panels, and the 4th gen. seats, but no carpet yet. the cheapest ive fold it is for 212.00$ shipped, thats brand new and for both the front and rear pieces. sounded like an alright deal to me. but i just posted some pics of my car, check under the tech boards, under the body and interior forum. youll see my s/n as the one who posted it. it still needs some work, but im well on my way....

 

A friend of mine knows a guy that can do carpet I think, apparantly this guy owns the business that makes/cuts/installs the carpet for the BMW X5's... might could try him, could end up being cheaper. So, when's that hell-raisin' gonna happen?

 

it doesnt matter to me, when ever we can get around to it i guess. ive got got friends w/ 4th gen camaro's that would be interested. just keep in touch and ill let you know. :rockon:

 

TOXIC-Z, did u put in new carpet? if so how much did you pay for it, and whered you get it?

 

Hey does anyone around here have/know who has a red IROC? The thing looks like it has a 91-92 Z/28 hood on it without the louvers, and the hood it still primer. He ran me from a redlight yesterday, pulled me by about a car at the end of it guess it just goes to show the 350 TPI will undoubtedly pull the 305 TBI...

 

hmm, no clue, put ill keep my eyes open.

 

Also, there is about to be another Heritage Edition out on the streets. A buddy of my mom has a RS, black with red stripe car, also 305 and T5, almost exactly like mine only his has power windows (dammit...), but I saw him the other day and he's got new door panels and carpet, he's trying to get the interior done before he sends it off for paint. Anyone know of any body shops around here that do really good paint? I've heard Lin Liedel out off 41 in GA is good, 2-A Paint and Body, but I've never been able to see any work from anyone else. I think he's really looking for show-car paint on it.

 

Sequoyah Motors here in Soddy Daisy does great work, also a guy named Toney Blaylock has a shop here in soddy that does really good paint/body work. i recommend either one of those shops.
