Of course then there is a real thirdgen on the boards, but I don't think he has paid dues or plans on it. TJ88Z28. He's on here once in awhile too. Baadddd '88 IROC.

cool thanks i hope to do the conversion soon i will let ya know how it going i am sure to run into some question as i am now doing dash, door panals and center console.
3ZZZ i belive i saw your car at the trans am gathering thing out at the island and was it covered all over with mold????? also was able to see it at the track. The first run got a little loose half way down the track after burning them quit a bit. Did u get some DR the last run? seemed to get pretty good traction.
hey smithtc you get those springs changed out yet? i was going to take my car next week but the bike fest gathering or what ever it is, is happening the 23rd so i guess i have to save it for the week after that. got a lot of new stuff to help make me be able to tune my car a little bit better. hopeing to see a good gain but always disapointed
Hopefully i see u there by then making some runs in.

THe first run consisted of frustation (waiting an hour to run), nerves (everyone excepting alot out of the car with a driver that rarely drag races), and embarassment (the burnout did not go like it was supposed to). I think it went 9 something.
THe other two did have the dr on the back.
Second run 8.6 at 89 mph
Third run 7.82 at 90.5 mph

Nate, hehe.. I know the guy with the 89 IROC. Can't believe he bought that thing for $500.

checkin in from Jacksonville. I got an 88 V6 camaro that needs some body work and paint job, hopping to get a summer job and make some money. Also thinking about putting a Flowmaster 80 series on, any opinions on that.

Well I can’t say that I was not serious, I might have made it sound worse then it was. when I walked up to it there was spots all over it don’t know if they were mold but odd color spots that looked like what happened when I had a car cover on my car for a long time. The car is very nice though, one of the nicer cars at the trans am show too bad it was the show was based on firebird models

Not many third gens around here, though I did see a nice 91 gray Firebird with what looked like a couple of high school guys in it, right in front of Northwood Center.

I wish we could get a thirdgen club or atleast a little get toghether once in a while. Even if it was just meeting up and cruising down to Bayfront in Pensacola and embarassing some R I C E R S.

If I were to start a northwest Florida thirdgen forum (I would just say Pensacola but I know there are probably more not from here than there are), would any of you guys regularly post there?
I've been thinking about doing it for some time but never got around to it. I know both Lewis (305RSlc) and I would post but I don't know many other people around here with thirdgens... even though I see quite a few of them lurking around town.

I would post if there was something to post about.... heh. I dunno what to say most of the time in the regional forums except "yea I'll try and be there" .. or "yes I live here" posts.

Just moved to Cocoa, Fl. Looks like I am going to have to drive to Orlando to meet up with some Thirdgens.
Guess it's time to put the top down and go for a ride.

You guys should check out the forum I have set up and tell me what you think.
It's for all Northwest Florida people so that's pretty much everyone from Tallahassee and westward.
Just check it out and post if you want. I'm trying to get some activity going over there.
