EFI tuner needs experience
OK so I decided to challenge myself a bit and start tuning EFI systems. My hardware should all be here by the end of the week, but there's one slight problem: my '91 is carbed and the TPI motor for my truck is still in pieces in the shed. I need a car to tune!!!!! I spent the last 4 months reading and theorizing, and I have a solid history of working on cars (for the last 2 years it's paid my bills) so I'm confident in my abilities, but I need some hands-on time.....so anyone in the Tuscaloosa, AL area who needs a speed-density car tuned get in touch with me! If you'll come to me, and buy the necessary chips and adapter (should be around $50,) I'll tune for free!
MAF cars are also welcome, but most of my knowledge so far is speed-density based so keep that in mind. The simple stuff like VATS disabling and speed-limiter changes are the same, but the actual fuel and spark tuning is a bit different, so don't expect much in that department.
Those of you who have seen me on the boards know that I'm fairly knowledgable.....I won't tear your car up, I know better. The stock tune will be left unmodified so that if I die or something you will always have that to fall back on. PM or email me for my phone number if you're interested.

Come on now....surely SOMEONE in central AL or east MS still has TPI in their car. They can't ALL be carb-conversions.....
Even a bone-stock car will benefit from tuning. FREE is a price that you can't beat....and it's a TRUE CUSTOM tune instead of a generic timing advance and no fuel table changes like most of the off-the-shelf chips. Sell your HyperJunk on eBay to pay for your chips and have money left over!!!
89GTA383.....if you want to drive down and make a weekend of it let me know. We have a couple extra beds so you won't even have to have a hotel room.....assuming I don't get a really nasty first impression.

Yeah I know the BFBA quite well. Brian is actually trying to sell his gorgeous white Z (the traitor....) and Cory's isn't running right now. Brian says he'll jump on it if he can't get what he wants for the car.
I'm not an official member any more, but I check the board daily and I know most of the members. I try to make it to their events when I'm not backed up at work. Nonetheless, thanks for the tip.
