Hey guys, I am moving down to Gainesville on wednesday. I am getting rid of my current third gen before I leave and want to get a new one when I get there. I need something in the 1500 price range, doesnt have to be pretty just has to be reliable. Let me know what you have. Thanks.

 

Gainesville, Florida or Georgia?

 

If you're referin to Gainesville, GA. I've got a 92 RS I was just about to put up for sale. It's nothing special, but it is reliable. It's mechanically sound, but the body does have some dents, and the paint is fadin a bit.

if your still in the g-ville florida area looking for a third gen good luck i looked for 2yrs and never found one worth the price til recently.. i just picked up a 92 rs 305 for 1k solid body smoker of a boat anchor engine.. even realy rough RS camaros in this area run 3-5k so good luck... feel free to holla if your still in the markey and i will hunt for ya...

 

Hey, yeah in FL. I am currently looking but not finding anything really worth the money, I think i may wait a while longer and keep watching, instead of jumping at the first one i can.

 

I hear you. I've been looking for a while and finally bought an 85 Z28 for $4K in Sanford last Wednesday. Seems like there's lots of good-looking possibilities for third gens in the Miami area, but hardly any in the G-ville area. I sat on Autotrader to find mine.

 

glad i knew someone who had one from which to get the deal i had... i drove all over the state the past 4mnths looking at cars... just be patient they are out there and even if you have to do alot of work it is a labor of love..
