Sooo yea, anyone in Alabama around Centreville/Brent/Tuscaloosa?

Ive been trying to find people around here that works on cars, or interested in cars and have found nothing...Would be cool to meet someone into the same cars and not a honda.

we should really setup a day and bring our third gens together, I would love to see and meet some of my local third gen guys.

I'm here in Northport, AL. I can give you a good body shop reference. However, I could use a good mechanic lead as well.

Nothing in particular. I will start looking at interior soon. But eventually I want to look @ a motor swap. Probably years down the road. There is a Firebird cruise and show going through, and stopping in Atlanta. I just can't find the link again. That would be a cool place to go to show off. The cruise starts in Florida and ends in North Carolina, I think. They are driving to nationals of some kind.

So I haven't been on TGO in literally a year or more, and I just saw this thread.

I'm Jason. I live in McCalla and work in Tuscaloosa at an independent shop. I'm ASE certified in five areas and I've owned a thirdgen (and on occassion as many as three) since 1996. Right now I have a white '89 T-top Iroc that's pretty thoroughly modified.

need to get a north bama thrid gen club organized and going- seems the old bhamfbody site has lost all interest and members not doing much there. i just acquired a new car- 91 z28, so would like to get some meets and all going..

 

It would be nice to meet some other local third gen owners. Birmingham FBody never had many folks interested in 3rd gens. It was 90%+ 4th gens.

 

If it works out, I am hoping to run the Iroc Friday Night at Steele. If any of you guys are there come introduce yourself!

The BFBA always did consist mainly of fourth-gens, simply because 4th gens were current when the club was formed and there were SO MANY of them on the street. There was always at least SOME thirdgen participation though. Namely, me! At least until I moved away....

I'd be all for getting together sometime. Do you guys ever hit the Saturday night cruise-ins around Bham?
