Thanks for a great event, we had fun. Nice group of people and cars, and it was fun cruising over to Mobile in a pack of thirdgens.

We got in late Sunday because we toured the battleship afterwards, and work hit hard yesterday. I should have my pics up and e-mailed out tonight for those that wanted them.

I was there,
i had the black 4th gen you parked behind
and you have the black GTA that your daughter takes apart, if I am correct?

The fenders have to go to Atlanta and "Camnite" is going up
there in november with his Colorado Pick up.
Meeting him in Tillmans corner is not a problem.
If I have to meet him at Hooter's,
well that is a sacrifice that I guess I will have to make
to help out a fellow third gen person.

There is some one trying to get a meet going at the dragstrip in Holt. That would be a fun place to meet, but we need to give people time to get thier car ready. 92firebird 305 owes me a race anyway based on our dyno numbers we should be dead even.

Rob you better be careful... we've been removing some metal from that car this week and it's a bit lighter than a stock third gen at the moment

I'm up for a Holt meet for sure.. just gotta get my fueling and cooling issues sorted.

rob based on my numbers and yours it will be close but you have the better rearend in less u spin your tire your gonna beat me by about the nose of my car from what some people have told me like zz3 said we been removing metal off my car to fix my t-tops thanks steve for helping me with that issue

I used to live in Gainesville, half way is Chipley, Fl

Stopped there twice in my life.
1st time a front tire blew out on the Camry, you know there is a Wal Mart there?
2nd time the axle locked up in my '84 t/a. Pinion seal - didn't.

I now call it something that sounds like chipley, but it has a T in it......

Anyway I digress.

jacksonville is about 160 miles from "Tally"
and "Tally" is 400 miles from me, hmmmmmm

teh distance between tally and where i live is about 400 miles, half of that is 200.
Pensacola is 215 miles from me and 185 from "Tally"
Pensacola is half way!
If you include Jacksonvile folks, then it shifts 80 to the east, which would be Destin, Fl

My maf sensor failed 1 mile from Chipley exit. There must be something in the air

correct if i'm wrong but i know the 91-92 camaros with TPI didn't use a MAF sensor they used a MAP (Speed Density) did the TA's not follow this? i never looked under your hood so just curious.

you are correct!

speed density was used on the trans am's as well.

he probably was in another 3rd gen.

Mine is speed density sorry. My map sensor went bad that it what I meant my mistake.

well to update all of you my car is fixed no more t-top leaks and im getin that posi rearend put in next thursday its a 3.42 posi rear from a 98 ls1 6 speed car cant wait

well no rain here and i washed it yesterday and got no leaks at all thnak steve for fixing my car for me let me know when you need help with anything on your car ill come over and help im getin that rearend put in next thursday so maybe that sunday ill ride up there and go to the drag strip

I'll probably be at dyno night this saturday in dothan. Next weekend I *might* get in the Commando car show and then head to GCA Mobile. Problem is Commando awards don't start till 4pm and GCA starts at 6pm and is 115 miles away. Hmm. So on that Sunday I'l be heading home from Mobile if I make GCA.
