Another Central Florida Meet
Lets see if we can have another meet soon. I have a vacation family vacation planned in a few weeks so I am looking at early February to be available to do this. I also work Friday and Saturday nights so if we can do it on a Sunday would be great but I could take a day off if needed to get more cars.
So, everyone wanted to participate post your availabilities. It would be cool to do a Friday night Old Town thing.

Re: Another Central Florida Meet
I'd be up for checking out something during daylight hours on the Space Coast. I am night blind and can't drive after dark, so I am limited in that aspect. That also limits how far I can travel. Im in Palm Bay and could run about an hour in either direction, north or south (Cocoa Beach to Vero Beach) I wouldnt want to drive for 2 hours, only to have to turn around after an hour of being there and driving 2 hours home to beat the darkness. Also I work Mon-Fri and weekends are open all day.

I will be down in Orlando with the minivan for a WDW trip from Jan 23-28. I might be able ot make it if the meet is nearby... depending on when we are in the parks. Don't schedule around me, but I can try to make a meet... Always good to hang out with other car folks.

Old Town... You know, on Wednsday nights we can all park along 'pit row' with the regular cruisers. Wednsday they allow 'special interest' cars (Camaro's, Stangs, etc even if not pre-'87) and they are quite welcoming as long as you act reasonably responsible...

The dragway on a Sunday during the day doesnt sound bad to me. That would give me plenty of daylight seeing as the lanes open at 10 and close at 4. Just have to pick a date.

Re: Another Central Florida Meet
A lot of factors and requests to consider and work around for this meet. I see some conflicts in the scheduling but i'm sure we can work this out. Looks like early Feb. is best for the locals who plan on attending the 500 in late Feb. Sunday sounds good to me, i'm free all day. Maybe do the Dragway in the morning/afternoon and then get something to eat in the evening time. I'll bring the fiance out and we will make an all day event out of it. Be her first time to the race track. See if some of the F-Body inc people want to come out as well.
Re: Another Central Florida Meet
Most likely I'll be lying on the garage floor removing my engine mounts and dropping my Y pipe getting my engine swap started around that time. But that's OK, I want some vrooooom first time I head out to a meet. Right now I have vroom-cough-cough-sputter-vroom. :-)

I'm up for early feb, any day I like the wed old town idea, bc there'll be a lot of other cars there even if we don't get a huge turn out, but Sundays are good too lets get as many out as possible.

Re: Another Central Florida Meet
Sunday march 4th, Sunday funday I could most likely meet.
Tax time repairs so to be safe for me I'd say the beginning of march.
Would love to do something on the space coast, haven't been there since I was a kid. Plus the Spacecoast sounds like it could be a good photo op as well.
If anyone happens to come up with something, shoot me a PM for a heads up just in case I get my tax money and spend a week or 2 straight working on my car, lol.
Looking forward to a meet

Give me a time and place, I won't be in the Camaro, it's parked, V6 is dead. But I'll be in my Benz.

Yes, March 4th. willie, looks like you moved further up north? Or do you still come out to Dover/PC sometimes? Wouldn't be timely to meet up on the way there.
Does anyone have an address/location to the All Camaro meet on March 4th?

Thats the day I planned on trying to get up there. Probably going to enter into the show, but won't stick around for judging winners. Got to get back to Palm Bay before dark.

No, still live in the same spot, went to school in Tampa remember? I'm in Webster, good ole Sumter County. Yea you are probably right, probably be better to meet at the show. Either way, let me know; not opposed to meeting at a halfway point?
Well hell, its gonna be awhile for the hybrid build anyway, only have the top end parts ATM. And I'm only 40ish minutes out from Orlando, If you remember me when you pull it, let me know

We have to meet up ourselves though. Maybe meet somewhere at the dealership at a certain time or something like that.

Re: Another Central Florida Meet
Event says March 2-4. I only see itinerary for Friday-2nd and Saturday-3rd, didn't see anything for the 4th.
Ok, read there thread on this show. Sunday A.M. will be awards and thats it. So if you are only planning one day it should be Saturday the 3rd. I just registered for the event. I will be there all weekend.
Friday night is the cruise to Old Town.

If it is open to all f-bodies that would be nice. The car just needs a new battery and to be registered which will run me $350 just for registering it. Don't know if i can spend that much right now.

Re: Another Central Florida Meet
I may or may not be able to make it out. All of a sudden my tax refund got pushed back to March 6th, when I filed Feb. 2nd. I LOVE how people that filed after me already have their taxes. Go figure.
Will keep you all updated.
Re: Another Central Florida Meet
I just paid $468 yesterday to register my 'new' '92. Had to pay the $225 'initial' fee on top of everything else, didn't have an unused registration. Blech. At least next year it'll be a lot cheaper!

Is that the F-Body meet at Gators? Last year I was the only third gen there.
Re: Another Central Florida Meet
Starling Chevrolet in Kissimmee. I know for a fact there will be at least 2 F bodies... I'm bringing them, LOL. Well, me and wifey poo. So far 136 cars are registered.... Should be fun regardless.
