Huntsville, AL thinking about moving there

Idk if this the right spot but.....
I'm from Detroit, Michigan lived there my whole life well I moved to the burbs the last 3 years of my life (23). I'm married with a 2 year old. I'm close wth her fam and they all wanna move down there with other fam "they got money" said they can get us jobs making good money in the construction field. I'm a state cert mecahnic and love what I do and that's the field I wanna die in.

My questions are

How is the auto bizz
How is the car seen
How ppl treat blacks
How they treat young ppl
How the laws on street racing
How is the track
How 3rd gens are, meaning are they a lot, evey body has 1 in their back yard, they hated.
Local car shows
Crime

Detroit has the largest black population somethin like 94% and I don't have any white friends no good 1s we are from diff worlds
Is the elevation good for racing.

The rap music I know is diff with chopped and skrewed and I don't like that at all, nore lil boosie. I don't wear dreads, or skinny jeans, 400 tatoos, or big ear rings. Will I fit in, what the gun laws. Will I get shot for wearng a hoody.

What the weather like all year. Thanks I know its a lot lol.

Re: Huntsville, AL thinking about moving there

Ok. I'm in Jacksonville which is about 1.5 hours south but I go there often. Huntsville is a great place and it's like anywhere else...it has a lot to do with you. If you want trouble then you'll find it lol. I can't really speak for the street racing scene but I'd say that you'll find a group or two that you'd get along with. As far as the race issue, the south is nowhere near the backwoods, racist area that a lot of ppl not from here think it is. Btw I'm black and we've not had any problems. If you decide to come just know that it's different and you'll need to adjust.

Re: Huntsville, AL thinking about moving there

I was looking over the area and they got their own drag strip I'm so there. And a hour and a half is a long way are speed limits are 70 so I can get 200 miles in tat tim since the state cap is 120 miles and I get there in 45 to a hour. I learned about me u have to get to know me to like me but when u do u love me but u hae to stick it out I'm bit of a butthole, and to smart for my own good. But I'm not a trouble maker.

Huntsville Dragway is a great track. They are starting to bring back more small tire heads up racing. We were just there this past weekend.
