Newb
New to the 3rd gen fam, just purchased an 87 IROC vert. 5 speed, from what I have read in such a short period of time, production numbers are lo. Some of you may know me as Taz...A black 2002 SS. We bought this car to drive on this year Hot Rod power tour. Lost 5th gear on drive home from Mass. We will start there first by rebuilding the tranny. Did not have original rims on it, have a line on some replacements. Has grey leather interior that needs work...I will soon be in the market for parts, any recommendations are welcome...pics for all to look over...

Looking forward in learning, fixin and enjoying this board and our new 3rd gen

Thanks, nice website and story you have...hopefully in a couple of years we can get our iroc looking as nice as yours! We need to hook up sometime for a little meet and greet, maybe at the BK on 9 mile? Maybe we can get Da Spurdo to come over or we go over there..

Re: Newb
I'm game for a meetup. Car's not running at the moment though. Been slowly working on cleaning up under the hood, and general tune-up / repairs. plus the suspension/steering needs to be reworked and i discovered a transmission fluid leak the other day. Slowly getting parts in for this, but it's taking some time - until that gets fixed she'll be a garage queen. But I'm game depending on the weather I'll meet up on my bike.
