Have they done this even before? I wouldn't mind going, but......it doesn't look to be very organized. Three days full of adrenaline and horsepower!!!!! -but there's only one thing happening. A cruise on Thursday, which sounds cool. Then apparently you can meet some girl at the after party? I don't mind that, but my wife might. Regardless, hardly worth making the drive for her! ....seems rather thrown together.

This will be the 1st year ECFBA hosts this event. It has been in planning for almost 2 years by the time the shows dates come. There will be several events inside this event and more to be announced as it gets closer. The cruise and Meet N Greet on Thursday is just building up to the Kick Off Party. As far as "thrown together" our team has worked hard in putting this event together for everyone. We invite everyone out to enjoy it with us. Thanks.

I appreciate all the effort that people put into events. I ran a pretty large club for many years so I know about being the organizer, and I can only imagine what goes into something of this size. Thanks for doing what you do. Truly. -but if anyone outside the local area is gonna make the drive, there needs to be... "more" ....on the website. The post asked if anyone was going, and as of now, I probably won't. To your point though, more to be announced as time gets closer, so maybe I will. I'm not too far.

I also hope there is a decent itinerary with this event. Myself and a friend will be coming up from Tampa, FL area to attend. Hopefully it is more than just a carshow. I understand wanting to do the cruise on Thursday as those roads are filled with other car groups and motorcyclists over the weekends. I just don't want to sit around for the majority of the day after I've already made my rounds to see all the cars. Looks like a couple of the hotels are "within walking distance". That is what made The F-Body Gathering in Atlanta so great was not having to drive a distance to the event. Was nice to party late with other car people we became friends with over the years.

I sure miss the FBody Gathering...

I plan to go to this. Not sure if I will take my 6th gen or one of my 3rd gens.

Ha! Me too. Have a Hyper Blue '16 2SS. All things being equal, I find the older cars to be more interesting as far as shows, and talking on forums, nostalgia, fun to work on etc. etc., though the 6th gen is a better car in just about every measurable way! In my case, the 3rd gen just isn't ready, so I'd take the 6th. -but the goal would be to eventually have the 3rd gen ready for these type of events.

I generally do take my third gens, but I can't seem to get enough of my 6th gen 1LE...
Most likely I will plan to take a 3rd gen,

There will be three or four of us from the Savannah chapter of AACFA attending. We’re looking forward to it.
