hey my dad said we need to put the front license plate on my z and we live in texas, i thought that it was only required to have one on the rear of the car....or am i wrong??

Texas requires both plates to be on. That's why they give you two when you get new plates....
Kind of ironic that Texas requires it because most southern states do not while most northern states require two.

I wouldn't worry about it too much. I've had mine off for about 6 months and even the hard core Amarillo Police Department hasn't said anything to me. Just don't give them a reason to.

texas has some horrible laws dont they... i used to have family down there, i know how bad the emmissions laws have gotten & the 2 plate law is stupid in every state.. there is no reason for it. I am sure there are quite a few other
laws down there.... Oklahoma has a law that says " The use/sale of any carbinated beverage is untollerable & will be punished with a fine of $500-$750."
Like that will ever be enforced.... HAHAHA
