I've been debating on a 383 for months now but I've always wanted a 406. So my questions are:

1. Does anybody know where I can get a good 400 block?
2. Does anybody recommend any good engine builders?
3. Is anybody around here running a 406?
4. How is it going through emissions?
5. What compression are you running?

The plan here is to bo around 450 hp and still be able to run an ATI Supercharger(later down the road). As of rught now this is still on the drawing boards so I'm just trying come up with some ideas. All imput, like always, is welcome.

larrys engine and marine is a pretty good shop, they do all the tuning on our nova when we cant **** with it and they put together the rebuild kit and did all the block maintenance and what not
