Oct 5th Phoenix Junkyard Crawl!

Allright...I'm back from vacation.

I'm picking up my new interior tomorrow night (4th gen leather and console) and I'm ready to do this junkyard crawl.

I'm thinking maybe a light breakfast at a restaurant somewhere about 7 am, and then off to the Broadway strip.

Anyone else interested?

On Broadway between 32nd St. and 32nd Ave. are alot of junkyards. We figured if a person were to start at one end and "crawl" their way to the other, you could probably come up with almost any part you would need. Hence a junkyard crawl.
You've never done a bar crawl?

.I can go, however, I have an SAE (society of automotive engineers) meeting at 10:00. We're building a turbo, injected honda CBR motor for the formula one car . I probably will miss breakfast but I would still absolutely love to go to the junkyards with you guys! I don't know how long the meeting will take, but probably between 1hr and 2hrs so if you guys could meet me somewhere around 12:00 and we could go I would be sooo greatful! You don't have to wait up for me or anything but I've never been to a junk yard 'round here and it would be awesome if somebody could show me the ropes, other wise I will guilt trip all of you for the next few weeks .

I could meet you later. To my knowledge on Central, just south of Broadway are both a McDonalds and a Burger King. The early crew could meet there for breakfast, and then meet again for lunch to pick up the late crowd.

Uh bad news. I have to meet a guy at Friendly Pontiac @ 9am Saturday to get a couple peices that were missing from the seats. Do we want to set the early crew meeting for after that or should we just start at noon?

I don't know who is going early, but I think it would be a little bit of a hassle for them to meet, go, then meet again, perhaps just meeting at noon would be the best thing? It's not really up to me since I am one of the late ones . Either way, why don't we meet at the Burger King? They do actually cook their burgers . For the late crew, say noon? Just some thoughts
