For Sale.....
Well guys I hate to do it, but I have decided to sell my car. It runs great but I think it just needs a bigger radiator, the whole cooling system is brand new including the radiator, but it needs a bigger one, now that the temps are starting to rise it starting run warm, between 210-225 or so, I know its not that bad but with the temps down it was running 180. Anyways, it has a 350 .060 over, mostly stock rebuild, top end has very mildly ported l98 heads, edelbrock vortec intake, still got the q-jet, edelbrock headers and y pipe, cutout with stock i pipe going to flowmaster muffler, has new rims and tires, rims are american racing outlaw 2s, the tires are generic wal mart tires but have tons of tread left. it is a 5spd, and a 2.73 posi rear end. 4 wheel discs. interior is in very good shape for an 86, it has the tear spot in driver seat that is sooo common in these cars. car runs awesome, with tires and gears it should see high 13s, with a 2.3 60' it ran 14.6@95.6mph, so with some sticky tires and some 3.73s it should easily run 13.9-14.0...I wash the car at least once a week, and wax it once a month, the motor only has about 5k miles on it...I haven taken very good care of it and it is my baby, but I am still in school and don't have a job right now, it won't take much at all to turn this into an awesome car(already is), like I said the only thing it really needs is a bigger radiator, it has new water pump, electric fans, aluminum radiator(single core, thats why its too small), and 160 stat....I would like to get around 3500 for it and am open to offers and maybe trades, I have pics of the engine while we were building it etc. I am trying to be as honest as i can, if you have any questions email me or pm me camarochris39047@aol.com

i didnt mean pre 87 l98 heads, I meant the pre 87 perimeter bolt heads, i was "informed" for the centerbolt heads to work I needed the vortec intake, he also told me the heads were vortecs which I later found out otherwise, the worst part is I had nothing in writting so I couldn't do anything...do not purchase from XTREME SPEED in Apache Junction. All he cares about is money.

hehe well Im now having relapses and dont know if Im gonna be able to part with it lol...I have put so much time and money into the car that it would be hard to see it go...also the problem wasnt the radiator
, ended up being the heater core, I bypassed the heater core and whaddya know never heats up anymore...so it looks like I will be keeping it...also if anyone has a 4 bolt main 350 block they wanna get rid of let me know, I wanna build a pretty hot motor over the summer.

Wait wait...........back up the truck a minute...so what you are saying is that you have a vortec specific intake bolted onto L98 heads?? how did you even manage to get it to fit?? the vortec intake bolts go straight up instead of angled. Damn you should kick the guy who sold it to you in the nuts! in the nuts..........in the nuts.......... (south park joke)
