Not sure what to do.
As most of you know I just bought a 90Iroc. I knew when I bought it that it needed work, but the as the week I have had has passed it has become apparent it needs quite a bit of work. It needs a new hood, some body work and paint. The tranny slips in reverse and doesnt like to grab some of the other gears sometimes. The motor runs good sometimes and sometimes it doesnt. I just did cap/rotor/plugs/wires/air filters etc. and it still has a miss and hesitates pretty bad at low rpms. I checked the timing and its right where it should be at 6*. The car has great potential if I want to spend the time and money on it but I am not sure If I want to that. I spent assloads of money on my last car and just am not sure if I wanna do it again. Just wondering if any1 has some advice? Sebastian I know you will prob read this, I havent seen you on aim much lately but maybe you could help me with the body work/paint etc....The motor and tranny I can take care of myself but I am still debating wether I want to or not.

lol. sounds like what i went thru. i was going to sell it.. but i think im going to keep her. but my main goal (after new suspension/tune up) is to make the car more "presentable" and "practical" if u can call my setup "practical".

well it looks like the iroc is going no matter what...I may have a deal with this guy but wont know til friday, we were talking about possibly trading his car for mine...his is a 78Z28 its gonna need a new motor but the body is perfect as is the interior and I would much rather build a motor than do body work...Plus I was talking to my dad and he is the lets leave it stock type, he said if I do the trade that we will build the car to a street/strip car and build a hot lil motor for it...I guess its time to move on from thirdgens.
