Well I've finally scraped and peeled off all the crappy WalMart tint that my car's previous owner installed and am looking for a professional shop. Most in the immediate area of where I live are anywhere from $150 - $200+ for our cars.

What ever happened to the awesome $99 job that most tint shops would do?? I know they quality of the tint itself has increased considerably, but damn!

Anyone know of a good, reasonable shop? I know I won't get anywhere near $99 .. so that's not the issue.

 

If you do figure out a place, post it/make a link to this thread in the sticky thread. That'd make a good additon cuz' I know a lot of people look for those places...

I can't believe not ONE of you very outspoken individuals here in the Phoenix area don't know of a reasonable tint shop.

I do know of a guy, but I forgot his shop's name, and I don't know the location . It's like "Racers X" or something like that, they do mostly imports. He's at the pavillions all the time with a Black 4th Gen Trans Am. I wish I had remembered, I kinda want to get my car done too

 

they all cost an arm and a leg. the next time you're sitting around with some extra time on your hand, grab a phone book and start calling places for price quotes.

Jess got the windows tinted on the RUSTang and it costed over $150... could be the only thing holding the car together

 

I paid $150 cash to the car wash @ 32nd st & greenway. I had to do some haggling. This was for my 96 E320 limo tint on all windows wxcept the front. I had it done 3 weeks ago, they did a great job. They are on the NE corner next to Arby's. HTH

 

That sounds like Auto Xtras. That's where we got the Mustang done. We had to bring it back to get the back window redone.

 

i have a friend that does that stuff.. let me try and call him *havent talked to him in a good 6 months* but let me see what he can do, i have seen his work that he as done 2 of my ex's cars (96 firebird and 2k WS6) and her parents cars, as well as his own and many others.. its very good. i know its under $100 though....

 

ok..well im no help... i called up my ex *which sucked* and she knew that he moved and had been to his house.. but never got his new phone number.. so im up a creek too..
